There is something so sweet and pure about the love for your newborn. Those first few weeks of sleep deprivation and trying to figure out how to balance feeding and keeping the baby clean along with doing the same for yourself and the rest of the family mean little in comparison to the boundless love and joy you have for this 8 pound or so being that has taken over your life! Even though I am a mother of two myself, I am still in awe for every newborn I get to hold and photograph. I get to capture those first few days and they will be the images that the families will look back at and remember those first sweet, exhausting days of their baby’s life!
\nThis newborn was sweet and cuddly but wasn’t much interested in curling up and going to sleep for me. Perfectly fine, we got some wonderful family photos and then wrapped her up tight and put her in a basket, which helped her drift off to sleep!
